Matt Carroll

Matt has spent his entire adult life working in the foundry industry. His career began at The G&C Foundry Company in Sandusky, Ohio. G&C was recognized as a leading foundry producer of highly engineered complex gray and ductile iron castings for the hydraulic valve and pump manufacturers. Matt was Vice President of Manufacturing and Plant Superintendent at G&C prior to the sale of the business in 1996. After the sale of G&C, Matt moved in to Sales and Engineering until he left in 2001. Matt joined H.G.Carroll & Associates, Ltd. in 2001 as a full partner, with his brother Jeff,. With over 30 years of “hands on” experience in the foundry, Matt is well versed in the manufacturing processes required to produce your complex casting requirements. Much of his time is spent assisting our customer’s engineering efforts to design castings that are the most cost effective and easiest to manufacture. We are often able to streamline your project launch and minimize future rework costs to correct inherent casting design flaws. Matt has been married to Suzanne for 30 years, and they have two adult children. His hobbies include woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and raising horses. Matt is active in his local church.  

Jeff Carroll

Jeff has spent his entire adult life working in the foundry industry. His career began at The G&C Foundry Company in Sandusky, Ohio. G&C was recognized as a leading producer of highly engineered complex gray and ductile iron castings for the hydraulic valve and pump manufacturers. Jeff was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at G&C, and was responsible for all sales,quoting and casting design activities with the customers. G&C was sold in 1996 and Jeff continued his employment there until 1998. Jeff established H.G.Carroll & Associates, Ltd. in 1998, and in 2001 Matt joined as a full partner. With over 30 years experience in the foundry industry, Jeff is knowledgeable about our customers’ casting design requirements and the foundry processes required to produce the most cost effective and easiest to manufacture designs. We are often able to streamline your project launch and minimize future rework costs due to inherent casting design flaws. Jeff is single and has one adult son, who is married and has three young sons. His hobbies include circle track racing with son, Andy, boating, and spending time with 3 grandsons.
